It has been used most days for dog walking or shopping and also on holidays to New Forest and also to numerous Country Parks-luckily I have a hoist so it fits in the car. it is one of the most comfortable scooters around and most reliable as it has never let me down – in fact not even a puncture when I have been out.

The batteries are just starting to deteriorate now after 5 years so will have to renew them.

The scooter has been serviced twice and I was told it should last many more years as “Shopriders go on forever” and I quote the engineer!!

I am not badly disabled but walking any distance is very difficult and I don’t like using the car much so when I want to get out and do some photography or to go down the town and have lots of conversations with people I meet it is perfect.

The batteries are well up to the job and the ground clearance means I can travel over fairly rough ground, I even take my dog on it (well secured to me) and we go to a nearby cycle path where he can run freely.

The scooter is not small but there are others much larger and so storage is not really a problem, it does not have the stupid “anti tip” wheels on the back which means fairly high kerbs don’t present a problem, all in all I cannot fault it in any way.

The scooter build quality is exceptional, the controls have been well thought out & well positioned. The seat is very comfortable & has full adjustment for height,arm support width & angle of the back the head rest is also adjustable. The seat also has the ability to turn through 90deg to assist with boarding the scooter. I’m very pleased I chose this model
