IV Pole / Drip Stand – Model 5418
Raising the bar for IV poles in the industry
Model 5418 redefines the traditional IV pole through innovative design, premium materials, and direct feedback from healthcare professionals. Developed to overcome the common issues associated with standard IV poles and drip stands, it delivers improved durability, hygiene, and reliability for modern healthcare environments.
The IV poles undergo a passivated electro-polishing process that inhibits bacterial growth and reduces tarnishing by up to 30 times, helping maintain a cleaner and more hygienic environment for both patients and staff.
Built to exceptional quality standards, Model 5418 is backed by an industry-leading 10-year frame warranty, reflecting a strong commitment to performance, longevity, and customer satisfaction.
I would like to sincerely thank you as well and the Roma Medical team for the outstanding work and support provided to complete Sustainability IV Stand project.
Your team carried out the auditing process professionally and thoroughly, revisiting areas to ensure quantities were correct, organising everything smoothly, and recycling process exactly as promised.
The transition was handled exceptionally well, and this has been greatly appreciated from the procurement perspective.
Your willingness to continue checking the IV stands annually and support maintenance that given us confidence in working with your team.

Space Saving IV Pole
A traditional IV pole with a star shaped base can be difficult to store and takes up an excessive amount of room. Remarkably, the space-efficient design of the RMA PositIV® stand allows for the accommodation of 10 units within a mere 4.6ft (1.4m). Their unique nesting design minimises the risk of tripping, a stark contrast to the spatial demands of a traditional IV pole.
IV Pole / Drip Stand Features
Hooks come in plain stainless steel as stand.
Colour Options Available
Another significant improvement in the RMA IV Pole / Drip Stand design is the use of solid machined bushes for castors fixing eliminating the need for threaded inserts that can become loose and unserviceable over time. The new RMA IV Pole is also fitted with two anti-static rust resistant 75mm castors. There are various hook configurations and colour options available. Healthcare facilities can choose the IV pole that best meets their specific needs.
Roma Medical have supplied Weston General Hospital with stainless-steel commodes for over 10 years and we have always been more than happy with the product and support from the company.
So when the company launched the POSITIV I.V pole, I knew it would be a sound investment and a quality product. We did a tour of the hospital with the IV poles and the staff were really impressed by the design and the space-saving stackability factor. All of our ward areas struggle for space and the ability to stack these inside each other when not in use was a big selling factor. The 10-year warrantly on the frame also makes the product cost-effective.
The poles are easy to clean and are finished to a high standard.
Weston General Hospital have purchased a large number of IV poles for our Emergency Department and surgical ward and our theatre suites are next in line to utilise the product.
